Feb 22, 2017 · Hi guys, my 2008 Avenger with 2.4L started today instantly as always, only this time it stalled about 2 seconds later. It did this 4 times in a row then on the fifth attempt there is no more crank. I have been unable to crank it over since. No warning indicators came on when it did briefly start and all the normal start up warning indicators ... Basically you will need to confirm that the system is receiving the command from the ignition node. This can be confirmed by connecting with a scan tool to check it's status when turning the key. If the status matches then you know the issue is in the CAN BUS wiring between the node and the TIPM or a failed TIPM.
